In a game that matched up two of the elite prospects in the class of 2008 it lived up to the hype. The game went back and fourth at the beginning then Campbell Hall opened up a small lead ending the quarter 23 to 20. Jrue Holiday was outstanding in the first quarter finishing with 14 points. Delvon Roe and Tom Pritchard each put in 6 points for St. Edward in the quarter. In the second quarter Campebell Hall improved on there lead to go into halftime with a 37 to 29 lead. The third quarter saw Tom Pritchard start to insert himself on both ends of the floor he finished with 9 points in the quarter and gave St. Edward a 53 to 50 lead going into the fourth quarter. The teams fought back and fourth the whole quarter with freshmen Austin McBroom hitting a huge 3 pointer to tie the game up and send it into OT. In overtime St. Edward was able to take over and get a hard fought victory. This is a list of top performers for Campbell Hall and St. Edward. Jrue Holiday for (CH) finished with 31 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 steals, 2 blocks and 2 turnovers, James Johnson (CH) totaled 9 points and about 9 or 10 rebounds played strong around the basket, Austin McBroom (CH) finished with 9 points and played a solid game. The standouts for St. Edward were Delvon Roe 18 points, 8 rebounds, 6 assists and 2 steals, Tom Pritchard was a beast on the inside finishing with 23 points and 11 rebounds, also Frankie Dobbs finished with 14 points and played a very solid game showing a good feel for the game.

Espn 2 will be airing there first game of the season tonight for high school. This game will match up to of the elite players in the class of 2008. Campbell Hall has Jrue Holiday headed to UCLA and St. Edward has Delvon Roe headed Michigan State.

Noel Johnson helped his team to a blowout victory over Woodward,GA, 91 to 54 on Tuesday night. He was the leading scorer in the game with 39 points, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.

Brandon Jennings led his Oak Hill warriors to a easy victory Wednesday night against Booker T. Washington, 96 to 61. He completely dominated the game finishing with 45 points.

Brian Oliver led his team to a easy victory over Seaford,DE 71 to 44. In the win he totaled 18 points, 7 assists, 2 steals and 1 block in 3 quarters of work. Ohio State and Miami had coaches in the gym watching Brian play, he has continued to see his recruitment grow from the excellent summer he had.

Tyler Zeller helped his team to a blowout win over North Daviess, IN 70 to 34. In the win Tyler completely dominated on both ends of the floor, he totaled 26 points and 16 rebounds.

Nevada signee Luke Babbitt had a huge game against Duke signee Olek Czyz in there match up the other night. Luke Babbitt’s team also earned the victory 63 to 59 over Reno High,NV. The game was built up as a match-up of these 2 talented forwards, but only one was able to live up to the build up. Luke Babbitt finished the game with 34 points, well Olek Czyz totaled 4 points on 1-of-14 shooting.

Jordan Hamilton is one of the top rated players in the class of 2009, I have him ranked # 7. He is looking at Texas, UCLA, USC, Kansas, California and others. In the opening round of the Westchester Tip-Off Classic He helped lead his team to a blowout win over Van Nuys,CA 85 to 29. Jordan finished the game with 28 points.

The super sophmore helped lead his team to a close win over Glennbrook South,IL 57 to 53. He had a nice game in front of his future college coach Bruce Weber of Illinois. Jereme totaled 24 points in the victory.
