This weekend Tyreke Evans who is the top rated unsigned prospect in the class of 2008 is taking a official visit to Memphis. He will be on hand to watch the big game between # 1 Memphis vs. # 2 Tennessee on Saturday night. This will be Tyreke’s final official visit before he makes a decision on where he will attend college next season. He has a school list of Texas, Uconn, Villanova, Memphis, Seton Hall and Louisville. He has no leader as of now and is expecting to make a decision sometime in the future after returning from Memphis.

Elena DelleDonne added another accomplishment to her list being named to the 2008 McDonald’s All-American Game. This will be a great ending to her high school career which has seen her dominate on a national level for years now. She is the # 1 ranked player in the class of 2008 and will be taking her skill set to Connecticut next year. Read the rest of this entry »

LaMont “MoMo” Jones (American Christian, PA) Looking for a destination again
LaMont Jones announced on Monday he has decided to reopen his recruitment. He wants to see what options are available to him. He had verbally committed to Louisville before his sophomore season well still at Rice High in New York City. He has since transferred to (American Christian, PA) he has had great season there this year teaming with fellow back court standouts Tyreke Evans and Jeremiah Kelly (Depaul). Coach Tony Bergeron said “He never went through the whole process.” So Jones will wait and see how the process goes before deciding on another school. Right now Lamont does not have a list of schools he is considering.
