Devin Ebanks has announced the four schools he plans to visit and then decide where he will attend. The schools still in the running are Memphis, Rutgers, Texas and WVU. He also said that he is going to watch and see what happens with Indiana in the future. Indiana still has a slim chance to maybe sign him depending on what goes on in the near future with the program but unlikely. He plans to schedule the visits next month sometime for each school.
“I’m going to look for a school that had some of the same things I liked in Indiana. I want to go somewhere I can develop, play right away and have a great relationship with my coach.”
Elena DelleDonne played in the McDonald’s All-American game tonight finishing with a solid game of 10 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. She will be taking her game to Uconn next season in the Big East. She started the game a little slow but finished strong.
On Monday, Greg Echenique ended his college search choosing to stay in New Jersey and attend Rutgers University. He is rising prospect in the class of 2009 who helped St. Benedict’s (NJ) to a 24-1 record this season well averaging 11.2 points, 9.2 rebounds and 3.3 blocks per game. Read the rest of this entry »
Tyreke Evans the top unsigned player in the class of 2008 is watching the NCAA tournament very closely. He is planning to announce his college decision on April 16, 2008 on ESPN. Tyreke is picking from Texas, Memphis, Connecticut and Villanova which our all playing the the tournament.
He is a program changing player when he arrives on campus and will make a big-time impact in college next year. He will be focused on many different things well watching each team compete in the tournament. He wants to see how they react to the pressure of playing in March. Another factor will be the players staying or leaving for the NBA Draft this year.

OAK BROOK, Ill. (March 19, 200 - Greg Monroe, the 6-10, 220 lb. prep superstar from Helen Cox High School in Gretna, La., was named the twelfth-annual Morgan Wootten Award winner today. It was announced yesterday that the 2008 Bay Ball Classic National Tournament will have a new home at Delaware State University. The Bay Ball Classic had been taking place at Cape Henlopen H.S. in Lewes, DE for the past 3 years since it began. It has been reported on Adam Zagoria blog that Devin Ebanks will re-open his recruitment after the buyout of Kelvin Sampson at Indiana University. Devin Ebanks is a 6′9 athletic wing who is a big time scorer that can fill it up on an array of different moves.
He is looking to have a list of schools cut down to 2-4 by next week. He is considering Rutgers, Texas and Memphis right now. So you can look for a update in the near future about his final list and scheduled visits.
