Tyreke Evans visit to Memphis
I had a chance to catch up with Tyreke the other night after his game about how the recruiting process is going and how his visit to Memphis was. Tyreke Evans is the top unsigned player in the class of 2008 and is down to Memphis, Texas, Villanova, Uconn and Seton Hall. 2008 USA Nike Hoops Summit Team
The 2008 Nike Hoops Summit game will take place in Portland, OR at the Rose Center on April 12, 2008. The game will be played at 1 p.m. (PT) on national television broadcasted by FOX Sports Net. This is the 11th annual Nike Hoops Summit each year the USA has put together some of the top players in the country to compete against an international squad of 19 - under all stars.

UAB gets a huge pick up from class of 2009
On Friday Coach Mike Davis landed his first major prospect since arriving at UAB in DeMarcus Cousins from the class of 2009. He is a 6′9 power forward who has the ability to take over a game with his extreme talent and NBA potential. He has been balancing around from school to school over the last year but really seems to have found a home at Leflore High School in Alabama. Read the rest of this entry »

Texas lands a big commitment from 2010 Forward
On Tuesday afternoon Coach Rick Barnes received a huge verbal commitment from elite prospect Tristan Thompson from the class of 2010. He had the option to attend any school that he wanted to in the country with his unlimited upside.
