It was announced yesterday that the 2008 Bay Ball Classic National Tournament will have a new home at Delaware State University. The Bay Ball Classic had been taking place at Cape Henlopen H.S. in Lewes, DE for the past 3 years since it began. The Bay Ball Classic replaced Slam Dunk to the Beach National Tournament which was held at Cape Henlopen H.S. in Lewes, DE.
This move for Bay Ball Classic National Tournament will help the tournament to expand with many new options for sponsorships and also help with separating from the former Slam Dunk to the Beach Tournament. The dates with stay the same with the tournament taking place December 26-30, 2008.
In the tournaments first 3 years it has really made an impact and quickly became a event to see during the holiday tournament season of high school basketball. The future looks bright for this event to continue bringing in National level talent to Delaware for the holiday season.

It is great to see that the tournament is staying in Delaware but will it come back to Cape Henlopen when the new school is complete?
