Kemba Walker (PG) – Rice (NY) – Uconn – Class of 2008

Kemba Walker is an extremely talented lead guard who is able to take over a game in many different aspects. He has excellent court vision and can also be a big time scoring guard when needed. He is also a great defender who has the ability to shut players down. Kemba has the ability to come in and help Uconn from the beginning on both ends of the floor.

Eric Murphy (CF) – St. Mark’s (MA) – Class of 2009

Eric Murphy is a 6’10 long athletic forward who is an elite player in the class of 2009. He has a unique skill set and is able score from all areas of the floor. At 6’10 he is able to step out behind the arc and make the 3 on a consistent basis. He has a tremendous amount of upside which is why he has received scholarship offers from Duke, Boston College, Connecticut, Florida, Ohio State, Marquette and Virginia. He has a very high basketball I.Q. and sees the floor well.

Xavier Henry (SG) – Putnam City (OK) – Class of 2009

Xavier Henry is a top 5 player in the class of 2009. He is a prolific scorer who fills it up with an array of different moves. He uses his size to dominate smaller guards on the inside and is also quick enough to blow by bigger defenders. He has a huge upside and also has good basketball I.Q. He has a school list of North Carolina, Memphis, Kansas, Louisville, Ohio State and Texas.

Nate Lubick (PF) – St. Mark’s (MA) – Class of 2010

Nate Lubick is an up and coming sophomore who is gaining interest from many of the top programs in the country. He does most of his damage on the inside with power moves and put backs off the boards. Nate Lubick has nice size and he is a long 6’8 forward who has improved his athleticism. He has interest from a long list of major programs Connecticut, Georgetown, Georgia Tech, Louisville, Marquette, Michigan, Providence, Rhode Island and Virginia have all offered scholarships. He is also hearing from UCLA, Stanford, Ohio State, Notre Dame, Florida and Duke.

Chris Fouch (SG) – Rice (NY) – Drexel – Class of 2008

Chris Fouch is a solid guard who is one of the leaders for the powerhouse from New York. He is considered one of the best outside shooters in the entire class of 2008. He gets a lot of open jumpers from the penetration drives to the hole by Kemba Walker and kick outs. He will be taking his game to Drexel next year to continue his career.

Durand Scott (SG) – Rice (NY) – Class of 2009

Durand Scott is another one of the elite guards at Rice this season; he is a standout guard from the class of 2009. He has the ability to get through the lane with easy and can also hit the 3. He is hearing from some major programs Arizona, Miami, Rutgers and Seton Hall have all offered scholarships. He is also hearing from Connecticut, Florida, Memphis, North Carolina, Providence and St. John’s amongst others.

Dante Taylor (PF) – National Christian Academy (D.C.) – Class of 2009

Dante Taylor is a powerful young kid who gets it done on the inside mostly. He is able to use his long frame to grab boards over taller players and also finish on the inside. Dante has a lot of upside to his game at 6’8 he can play either the 3 or 4 positions and is a legit top 50 player in the class of 2009. He is starting to gain interest from numerous programs such as Charlotte, Georgetown, Connecticut, Rutgers, Seton Hall, Syracuse and Tennessee amongst others. He has also received scholarship offers from Maryland and Pittsburgh.

Erving Walker (PG) – Christ the King (NY) – Florida – Class of 2008

Erving is an experienced lead guard who plays bigger than his size he stands 5’8 but is a tough guard who is a big time scorer. He has range for days easily hitting NBA 3’s making any zone defense not safe against CTK. He has played in many big time games well at CTK helping him become a great leader. He has the ability to get in the lane and find open teammates on the wings or finish strongly. Florida is getting a solid guard next year to help continue their dominance in the SEC conference.
